MEC for Agriculture Busisiwe Shiba visited the nearly complete Mkhondo One-Stop
Centre on Wednesday, January 31st. The state-of-the-art facility aims to be a
comprehensive resource for local farmers.
Shiba’s oversight visit allowed her to monitor construction progress and discuss the
anticipated March completion date. The Mkhondo One-Stop Centre will house a diesel
depot, fertilizer supply, veterinary services, farming equipment, and more when finished.
Local municipality stakeholders welcomed Shiba’s attendance. She commended the
construction progress and thanked all involved for their commitment to timely
completion.
The innovative Mkhondo One-Stop Centre will provide area farmers with equipment,
supplies, and services conveniently in one place. MEC Shiba’s tour reinforced the
Department of Agriculture’s support for developing modern agricultural hubs across
Mpumalanga.
