October 11, 2024A vehicle stolen during a house robbery in Kanyamazane in the early hours of 09 October 2024 has been found abandoned on Pienaar’s main road.
The incident unfolded around 4:00 am when a mother, sleeping with her children, was startled by noises in the house. To her shock, she encountered two armed men with their faces concealed by balaclavas. The suspects demanded cash and ordered the family to lie down before fleeing with their BMW.
The victim sought help from her neighbours, and the robbery was reported to the police. The stolen vehicle was discovered shortly afterward, abandoned on Pienaar’s main road.
The SAPS in Mpumalanga is actively investigating the case to bring the perpetrators to justice. Acting Provincial Commissioner Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi has assured the public that the police will work tirelessly to apprehend the suspects. He called on the community to come forward with any information to prevent further crimes. “We will do our best to ensure justice for the affected family,” said the General.
