Majika Primary School Shuts Down Amid Disturbing Incident

Mpumalanga police have launched an investigation following the murder of 31-year-old Mbali Mahlangu, whose body was found locked in a room in Siyabuswa on February 2, 2025.
According to police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane, Mahlangu was last seen on February 1 when she went to sleep in her backroom.
“The family became suspicious when they returned from church in the afternoon and noticed her room was still locked. Using a spare key, they opened the door and were shocked to find a pool of blood, with the victim lying half-naked, only wearing a T-shirt, facing upwards,” Ndubane said.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Mahlangu had multiple visible injuries, suggesting she was stabbed with a sharp object.
As of now, no arrests have been made, but police are working tirelessly to track down the suspect(s).
