Menzi Bantwana, a gifted vocalist from Bushbuckridge’s notorious Marite Streets, is still shining. Not very long ago, the singer captured the hearts of great musicians like Phuzekhemisi. He was chosen to compete in the SABC music competition, which will air on SABC 1 Ushuni Womhlaba, as one of the top 40 musicians. Menzi Bantwana is the monarch of all musical genres, including Afro Pop, House, and Amapiano.

Telkom is the sponsor of the talent show competition. The judges were Vusimuzi Manama from Ligwalagwala FM, Thandi Mamakhe from Ikwekwezi FM, and Phuzekhemisi Maskandi Legend. Kgoshi Menzi Bangwana received votes in favor from every judge. The first award is the following for the show. The winner will get five thousand rand and a two-year recording contract with Gallo Music, and unpaid publicity. The second vocalist will get two hundred fifty thousand rands and a two-year recording contract + publicity. Third place wins a hundred thousand rands and a two-year record deal, and recognition .  He claimed that even though he was having trouble becoming successful as a singer in 2014, he never gave up.
