The suspects arrested for the murder of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane will appear in court tomorrow.
Yesterday, police confirmed the arrest of six suspects for the February 2022 murders in Durban. Police say AKA was the intended target, followed from the airport and spotted at the restaurant before being gunned down. His friend was killed coincidentally.
Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says they will oppose bail, believing they have a solid case. The first suspect arrested in April 2022 has remained in custody, indicating sufficient evidence to prosecute.
