Speaking at the Sasol Awards Ceremony, MEC Bonakele Majuba acknowledged
Sasol’s support for advancing education in Mpumalanga.
Majuba stated: “We are grateful to be in the company of the best of the best, the shining
stars of both Gert Sibande and Ehlanzeni Districts.”
He noted both districts recorded pass rates above the provincial average, with 7 top
learners from the areas. “Indeed, this is a clear demonstration that where Sasol
administers, excellence is guaranteed.”
The MEC thanked Sasol for recognizing outstanding learners, supporting the “Rhandza
Xikolo Xa Wena” campaign, and improving STEM education.
“Go out there my children and shine like the brightest stars, be our torch bearers and
continue to brighten every corner where you are,” Majuba encouraged the honorees.
“We are really proud of you and we truly love you.”
