One Dead in Early Morning Collision Near White River Country Estate

A fatal accident near the White River Country Estate turn-off claimed the life of one person in the early hours of December 6.

Martin Jeffrey of Emer-G-Med reported that the collision, which occurred around 02:20, involved a clipper truck and a light delivery vehicle (LDV).

“Upon arrival, we found the driver of the LDV had collided with the back of the clipper truck. Sadly, he was declared dead at the scene due to his injuries, while the truck driver was unharmed,” said Jeffrey.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
