Police in Mpumalanga arrested a 34-year-old man for allegedly stabbing a woman
during a heated argument on Sunday morning in Leslie.
The stabbing occurred around 10:30 AM at Extension 10, Lebohang. The suspect and
victim, identified as party agents, were reportedly embroiled in an intense dispute that
turned violent.
During the confrontation, the man allegedly stabbed the woman. The incident happened
amidst voter registration activities in the area.
After being stabbed, the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police
opened an attempted murder case and swiftly apprehended the suspect on Monday.
