The unidentified man was wearing a gold Kaizer Chiefs sports T-shirt and denim jeans. He is estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old and was not carrying any identification at the time of the incident.

In a separate accident, a crash near the Hendrina turn-off claimed the lives of four individuals, including an infant. The crash involved a Toyota Hilux double cab and a sedan. According to Moeti Mmusi, spokesperson for Mpumalanga’s Department of Community Safety, Security, and Liaison, the incident occurred after midnight.
“Three of the deceased were occupants of the light delivery vehicle, including the driver. The fourth victim was a passenger in the sedan,” said Mmusi.
Two additional people sustained critical injuries, and the sedan’s driver suffered serious injuries. All were taken to Middelburg Hospital for medical treatment.
Initial investigations suggest that both vehicles were traveling in the same direction when the Toyota Hilux collided with the sedan and overturned multiple times off the road.
