Ntando Mathebula (33), a talented costume designer and wardrobe stylist from Hazyview, is making waves in the film and entertainment industry. Having worked with major production companies like Showmax and Netflix, his journey showcases resilience and passion for the arts.
Although he initially pursued engineering at Ehlanzeni TVET College (2012–2014), Mathebula later followed his true calling, earning a performing arts diploma from Tshwane University of Technology in 2019. His career took off during his practical training at Johannesburg Wardrobe Studio, where he contributed to shows like Ifalakhe and Blood Psalms.
Currently a technician at the Royal Pearl Entertainment Agency, Mathebula’s dream is to uplift his community. He plans to establish the Ntando Mathebula Academy to mentor young artists, introducing them to careers in costume design, wardrobe styling, and performing arts.
“My goal is to equip aspiring artists with the tools and knowledge to succeed,” he said, determined to inspire the next generation.
