
Foreign nationals have been found guilty and sentenced for possession of stolen property
September 18, 2023On Monday, August 14, at around 19:00, a 49-year-old victim was ambushed and shot multiple times at his doorstep in Collegeview, Bushbuckridge. According to information at police disposal, the victim just got off an unknown person’s NP 200 Nissan bakkie at his gate. He allegedly entered his premises, but before he could enter the house, he was shot several times.
He sustained multiple gunshot wounds on both his legs and an open wound on his head.
He succumbed to his injuries as he was declared dead by medical practitioners on the scene. Currently, the motive behind the shooting is unknown to the police, but investigation is underway. The victim was staying with his 14-year-old son who was not home during the incident.

Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, the Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, condemned the needless killing and pledged to fight nonstop to find those responsible.
